AS of March 2019, there are over 2.3B monthly active users, roughly 1.56 billion daily users and over 80 million small-and-medium-sized business pages. Facebook is HUGE; the largest and fastest-growing community that spans all borders and nationalities and has almost unlimited freedoms for both users and businesses. More and more business are beginning to take it seriously as a source of consumer base and are attempting to use the platform to target their suited audiences. AND ITS WORKING.
When you scroll through your news feed, you tend to see at least 10 - 20 ads for every 5 minutes you spend scrolling. While you may not think much of the ads you do see (or click on them), the impression remains, regardless. An average Facebook user clicks on roughly 8 Ads per month, and not every ad requires a click action in order to get results. Increasingly, businesses are able to use demographics to target and RE-target the viewers they want using their information and online behaviour to create an audience that is most (if not, highly) inclined to purchase their product or use their services.
The opportunities for businesses on Facebook are increasing every day, and from the results received by small to medium businesses have proved to be at least triple that of traditional advertising.
